“My clients are often going through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives, and I give them effective tools to move forward. They appreciate that I’m a thoughtful advocate who’s always in their corner.”
Contact MeFamily law issues can be overwhelming and stressful, but I am here to provide clear, practical guidance. I work closely with my clients to protect their interests and ensure they feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
With nearly 18 years of experience practicing family law in both New Mexico and Minnesota, I handle a wide range of family law matters, including:
- dissolution and custody matters
- custody and parenting time disputes
- asset and business valuation and division
- spousal maintenance
- child support
- post-decree proceedings
- grandparent and third-party custody and visitation
- domestic and international parental abduction
I am a strategic, empathetic problem solver dedicated to securing settlement-focused solutions that meet my clients’ long-term needs. When settlement isn’t possible, I am fully prepared to advocate in court for my clients and their children.
I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and am board-certified in family law trial advocacy. I am also active in the Association for Family & Conciliation Courts and share their mission of minimizing the negative impact of divorce and separation on parties and their children. Alongside my practice, I serve as a parenting consultant, custody evaluator, and court-appointed neutral under Rule 114. I am also an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
