Henson Efron proudly honors attorney Stuart Williams for his exceptional dedication and profound impact on the legal community throughout his 51-year career. Stuart retired from active practice in September 2024, leaving a legacy of leadership, public service, and professional excellence.

Stuart began his career with Henson Efron in June 1974, after graduating with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and serving as a combat engineer in the U.S. Army. For many years, he was a skilled litigator representing diverse clients in both federal and state courts. In the latter part of his career, he focused on professional disciplinary and regulatory matters in the healthcare industry, where he left an indelible mark.

Stuart has been recognized on the list of Best Lawyers in America® from 2017 – 2025 and as a Minnesota Super Lawyer® for 20 years. Throughout his career, Stuart served with distinction on numerous state health licensing boards, including as President of the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy, Vice President of the Minnesota Board of Nursing, and Chair of the Minnesota Drug Formulary Committee. He is a respected advocate for public health, recognized by Twin Cities Business as a Notable Hero in Health Care and listed among Minnesota’s 100 Most Influential Health Care Leaders by Minnesota Physician in 2020. He continues to serve on the Minnesota Drug Formulary Committee as the Committee Chair and is a member of the St. Louis Park Fire Commission.
