Clients Say

At Henson Efron, my practice centers on estate and charitable trust planning, fiduciary administration of trusts and estates, and resolving disputes through mediation and arbitration. I bring a client-centered approach to every matter, listening carefully to concerns and crafting solutions that align with each client’s values and aspirations. My ability to connect with people and foster collaboration is key to building long-lasting relationships rooted in trust.

Prior to joining the firm, I gained 20 years of fiduciary administration experience at U.S. Bank, where I served as Managing Director of Twin Cities Estate Services from 1996 to 2016, and at First Trust Company South Dakota from 2016 to 2019. During this time, I oversaw the settlement of hundreds of high-value estates and administered complex trusts involving intricate tax, accounting, and valuation issues. This expertise continues to inform my approach, enabling me to provide sound, results-driven solutions for even the most complicated estate and trust matters.

Earlier in my career, I practiced in related areas of law, including business, contract, real estate, and employee benefits, which continue to inform my work. My broad perspective allows me to identify opportunities and risks that others may overlook, bringing creativity and common sense to problem-solving. I am also a qualified mediator and arbitrator, helping clients resolve contested estates, contract disputes, and other civil matters effectively and efficiently.

Outside the office, I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and community service. I actively teach and attend Continuing Legal Education courses and serve in leadership roles with the Sholom Community Alliance and Foundation and the Minneapolis Jewish Cemetery Association. These roles allow me to give back to the community while broadening my perspective and skills.

Clients describe me as responsive, approachable, and reliable, with a genuine interest in understanding their needs. They appreciate my insightfulness, integrity, and ability to balance practicality with compassion. Whether guiding clients through estate planning or resolving disputes, I approach every matter with dedication and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome.
