Clients Say

I began my legal career in business litigation, representing clients in shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, and intellectual property cases. My path to family law began with my strong commitment to pro bono service. The passion I felt while working on divorce and custody cases inspired me to switch career paths, leading me to clerk in Hennepin Family Court. My experience working inside the court system gave me invaluable insight into family law from a judge’s perspective.

Today, I leverage more than a decade of legal experience to set my clients up for success both in and out of the courtroom. My practice is dedicated exclusively to family law matters, including divorce, custody, spousal maintenance, child support, property division, third-party custody cases, and drafting prenuptial agreements. My ability to analyze multifaceted issues, combined with a focus on practical solutions, ensures that I can guide my clients effectively through even the most difficult cases.

In family law, “success” often means negotiating the right settlement and avoiding the stress and expense of litigation, especially when the parties still have years of co-parenting ahead of them.  I’m experienced in mediation and negotiation, but I’m also comfortable in the courtroom. When necessary, I am a fierce advocate for my clients at contested hearings and trials.

Clear communication, thorough preparation, and a focus on my clients’ goals are at the core of my practice. I don’t just tell my clients what they want to hear – I tell them what the law says about their situation and how the judge is likely to view their case. I take pride in offering strategic guidance with empathy, helping clients move forward with confidence and clarity during times of uncertainty.
